Description
«Atrium» is a Latin word meaning « entrance hall », a place from which we have access to other environments. The Atrium Brewery emanates from a passion for beer, from a strong will to attract other people towards a universe rich of stories, savors and flavors : this is what we are commissioned to do! Therefore we brew unconventional beers making use of high quality products only, carefully selected to lead to a unique sensory experience.

Very slightly aged Short lived cream head over reddish brown beer. Coffee, ground roasted beans, holly, aucuba. Roast. Dry coffee, dry roast, bit ashes, som lightly sweeter chocolate. Chewy, and as stated, dry. Medium carbonation, lasting flavours. Sweet stout? I've had 'dry' stouts that were more cloying than this one. I do really deplore the demise of this great small brewery. Txs to Stef!

Misted gold with a one finger tall white frothy head. Dried apples & pears, peach, nail polish, some funk, grass, rum floral notes. Light sweet, sour & bitter. Quite interesting.

Slightly aged sample Good greige head, irregular, over virtually black beer. Very roasty, roasted grains, nuts, chocolate; bit syrupy, corn syrup, maple syrup. Light, much less syrupy tastewise. More like slightly roasted nuts, very lightly bitterish. Actually, really seriously carbonated, body is light. Light, OK, but there is not really a lot of flavour. Might have been better really fresh? Txs to Stef!

330ml Can - Golden with a white head. Floral and yeasty aroma, smells like a Belgian yeast but apparently it's Czech. The taste is herbal and citrusy. Not bad but tastes more like a Belgian blonde than a pils.

Med-thin body, high carbonation. Medium warmth, med-light swwetness, light bitterness. Moderate phenolic spicy presence, light general fruity esters. A pretty good balance of everything honestly. Perceivably strong, but also drinjable. Very good.

Had it as Appleton Rhum Barrel Aged. Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is rum, vanilla, charred wood, sweet bread, sugar. Taste is weel-rounded: roasted cocoa, vanilla (ice cream), oak, a hint of red wine and sweet citrus. Nice boozy finish as well.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 12/2028. Lot# 037/23.

330mL bottle, pours a clear dark red with a medium beige head. Nose has a lot of red wine tannins, dark dried fruits, some toffee, and bready malt. Flavour has plenty of red wine barrels, gentle bourbon, and toasted bready caramel. Higher than necessary carbonation for the style, but the double barreling works pretty well. Solid enough.

330mL bottle from Malt Attack. Pours murky brown with a large beige head. Toffee, dried dark currants and some tannic red wine barrels. Flavour has a fairly muted malt expression, plenty of bourbon barrel, some slightly tannic red wine character. The barrels work well together, but the base beer isn't great.
