Tap at the Guinness open gate brewery London. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a a lasting creamy beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, raisin loaf, nutty roast, light spice. Flavour is composed of malt load, raisin bran, light char, woody roast. Lingering bark and spice. Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp, highish spritzy carbonation. Not bad.

Nutmeg, cinnamon, some jammy fruits. Palate is semi sweet, cakey malts, spicy Jamaica cake, dired apple, riaisn, mellow spicy, woody bark. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, little flabby, highish carbonation.

Keg at the brewpub. Cloudy-opaque brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma has cofee and caramel. Nuts. An earthiness. Flavourwise it's got an initial citrus sourness and spice. This is over a chewy caramel and coffee core. Chewy malts also. Medium bodied. Creamy. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Dece Strong Ale that makes me think of a Belgian ale.

Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent characterful Wit.
