Bottle from MoritzF. Pale golden color. Hoppy, grassy aroma. Fresh grassy hop flavor. There is some malt character, although the beer is a bit on the thin side. Fairly long vanilla hopbitter aftertaste. Quality beer!

Caramel, malt and a touch of hops in the aroma. Hopbitter, caramelly, grassy flavor. Touch of milk chocolate. Complex and fresh tasting dunkel of remarkable quality. Thanks MoritzF, for this swing top bottle.

Slight hoparoma. A rather neutral flavor with just a bit of hops and a hint of orange. Medium bodied. Decent pilsener with a subtle taste.

Pours gold from the bottle. Frothy white head. Aroma is grains, straw, honey. Taste is mildly sweet, buttery, with just a faint bite at the end, hardly noticeable against a crisp but watery palate. Overall, kind of drab but not offensive.

500ml bottle into shaker. Pours golden amber with a frothy white head. Nose is subdued with notes of metal and malt. Full-bodied and malty. Finish is more malt followed by tin and some grain. Pretty average but drinkable.

“Marke Ahornberger Landbier Premium“, gebraut vom Frankenwälder Brauhaus in Naila; Bügelflasche (33 cl) aus dem Markgrafen Bad Steben. - Helles Goldgelb, blank.

Bottle. Dark brown with a nice big head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Taste follows aroma plus a tiny hint of chocolate. Too sweet and strangely sour. Medium to strong carbonation. Pretty thin and watery. Not that balanced. Just a mediocre Dunkel.
