12oz bottle pours a translucent, orange amber with very little beige head. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel, coconut, vanilla. No brett in the nose. Flavor is sweet, boozy, vanilla, coconut, butterscotch. No brett in the flavor. Finish is full bodied and sticky. No brett anywhere, which was a tad disappointing. If I wasn’t expecting brett I might have really liked this. It was good as it was, but I wanted the brett.

Bottle courtesy of Andy - thank you sir! Dark amber color, no significant head or lacing. Aroma of whisky, figs, prunes. Taste is similar. Not much sourness. Tasty.

Bottle at home ... copper ... thin white head ... plums and loads of alcohol nose ... sweet vanilla toffee ... over rich and clawing ... little oxidisation ... plums... little wood ... vanilla ... bit to rough and almost whiskey

12 oz painted bottle shared by Gregis. Bottled on 111706 stamped on the label. Pour is hazed orange ruby amber with a very minimal off white head. Nice lacing for a beer without much head. Aroma of initial sweet caramel maltiness, followed quickly behind by a dry dusty sherry - nice but a touch oxidized with quite a bit of cardboard showing through. Taste is the nose, caramel sweet malts, followed by dusty oxidized cardboard minor sour earthiness. Palate is medium, the oxidized cardboard nature thins it out a little bit. Really no alcohol present. Nice stuff, thanks for sharing this one Greg.

they must have started to bottle this, this one is courtesy of Treborwhip, says on the bottle it’s from Old Dominion brewery, nothing about coastal brewing. Bottle, pours black with a tall tan head. Strong vanilla and oak nose with some carmel and maple syrup. Roasted malt and a light smoke and peated malt flavor ends with a strong oaky wood note. Not bad at all, I like it.

Very dark maroon, 6 bubble head, yet very effervescent. Aroma of roasted coffee. Very thin. Not complex. I had to taste it 3 times before I could remember it enough to write down my impression.

On tap at the brewpub. Probably the only decent beer there. Typical dry, bitter and refreshing kolsch style.

Dark maroon with scant light tan head. Malty aroma and flavor, maybe with a hint of spice. Slightly bitter finish. Decent enough.

Not so great. Bland lager, moderate bitterness, but light and simple. Too many other decent lagers out there to spend time with this one.

Like the standard version, but even sweeter with a thicker, heavier palate. Molasses. Malt, moderate hops, and a plain, brown color. Quite sweet, lots of oak, but no bourbon, I am happy to report.
