OK, so this stuff has been around for awhile. Big and black impy looking stout. A choco moose head. Ooooh yes, impy stout with some local personality, pretty cool. Has that particular wine like contemporary background. Roasty friendly aroma. Smooth fer sure. Not bad for an impy stout, its almost civilized, heheh.

On cask at the brewpub, this was better than expected. Slight haze on a pale yellow beer. Wine like aroma. Decent mild flavors. Has a slight hint of tartness in the background. Yes, turning out to be a pretty good example of esb. One of the better esbs I think I’ve had in a while. Surprizingly good co2 effect, even on cask!

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy glossed over orange color with a slim one finger white foamy head that dissipated decently in a nice way. Lacing was decently stringy and messy.
The smell started off with a decent earthy to semi-grassy sweet hops running into a sly caramel backbone.
The taste pretty much copied the smell and had a decent sweet malty backbone leading to the semi-earthy and becoming slightly citrus (and English-esque) in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation is sly and carries the harshness just enough but stays back to allow the bitterness to take the lead.
Overall, good as an English IPA, is that what its supposed to be????, I’m not sure....

dark yellow grapey nose. Sharp mineral taste with grape and strawberry and kiwi quite liked this one.

Looks like bath water. Smells like cigarettes and peach. Actually, a nice body and mouthfeel, smooth creaminess with a non clashing taste

Light brown. A little chocolate nose. Mild and weak taste, oily sweet birch wood and a touch of Fuji apple

Gold brown. Vienna malt, pils malt and a touch of pine cone. Again, overly sweet rice Krispy treats tastes like a mildly bittered homebrew

1 finger head. Pitch black. Nose is super chocolatey. Whoa. Insanely sweet, very sugary. I get chocolate cola and candy corn
