C: gold, clear. A: honey, vinous, light woody, herbal, yellow pear, vanilla. T: honey, herbal, hint of woody, vanilla, a bit vinous, very smooth mouthfeel, medium to full body, very nice, excellent, enjoyed, shared with my wife on Labour day, 0,375l from friend from Slovakia.

Bottle. Quite balanced, with restrained, yet present sweetness. Otherwise a rather singledimensional, but easily drinkable with a simple honey character.

KRS 180715. Deep golden colour with no head. Aroma is heather, honey, flower. Flavour is honey, heather, flower, alcohol. OK mead.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Deep amber coloured pour with a small fleeting head,. Aroma is earthy honey, pollen, bark, woody, hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of sweet juicy nutty, caramel, earthy honey and caramel. Palate is full on sweet, sticky, viscous, sticky. Some sweet apple. Toffee, apple crumble.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel! Pours clear, glowing honey-gold with minimal head. A little fruity in the nose, some ripe apples, honey, pear. Big sweet flavor with lots of oily honey, caramel, bread, berries. Full bodied, oily and chewy. Warming finish, lots of gooey honey, apples, light caramel, honeysuckle flowers. Great stuff overall.
