Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

Sample at Kurtkeller 028: Wisconsin-tastic 01 on 06/10/2018. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart tropical fruit, wheat and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart guava, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a tropical fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Cloudy peachy colour. Lots of passion fruit on the nose, with a complex sourness. Has a nice pale malt sweetness, gentle tartness, lots of passionfruit. The sourness is complex, there's a bit of wood and leather to it as well. Nice balance. I love the balance, and this is quite tasty.

2020-06-25, bottle at Brian's, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Cloudy golden colour. Nice jammy aroma (7.5), highly carbonated, it has nice funky flavour, bit of Lambic character, mild fruit, and some astringency in the finish.
Very good.
2018-03-17, Oakes' Manor tasting, as Beachwood Blendery Strawberry Provence, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Cloudy blond color. Nice aroma of strawberry jam. Sour mouthfeel, lean, lemony with some strawberry.
Decent fruity sour (no Lambic character at all).

Oakes' Manor tasting; corked
Gusher bottle. Cloudy orange-golden color. Deep smell, funk, cellar, BO, and sour fruit (that would be the kumquat). Dry mouthfeel, highly carbonated; the acidity is mild, the flavor is not very well defined, and it's mostly evident in the final, which is very weak.
Good effort.
