Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

Cloudy peachy colour. Lots of passion fruit on the nose, with a complex sourness. Has a nice pale malt sweetness, gentle tartness, lots of passionfruit. The sourness is complex, there's a bit of wood and leather to it as well. Nice balance. I love the balance, and this is quite tasty.

2020-06-25, bottle at Brian's, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Cloudy golden colour. Nice jammy aroma (7.5), highly carbonated, it has nice funky flavour, bit of Lambic character, mild fruit, and some astringency in the finish.
Very good.

2018-03-17, Oakes' Manor tasting, as Beachwood Blendery Strawberry Provence, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Cloudy blond color. Nice aroma of strawberry jam. Sour mouthfeel, lean, lemony with some strawberry.
Decent fruity sour (no Lambic character at all).

Oakes' Manor tasting; corked
Gusher bottle. Cloudy orange-golden color. Deep smell, funk, cellar, BO, and sour fruit (that would be the kumquat). Dry mouthfeel, highly carbonated; the acidity is mild, the flavor is not very well defined, and it's mostly evident in the final, which is very weak.
Good effort.

Bottle, bought in February 2017 in California. Pours clear golden. Aroma is lambic funk, lemon peel, metallic fruit, little burnt rubber. Body is medium, fruity and sweet and sour, no particular passion fruit, but still fruit. Aroma is really reminiscent of Belgian lambics, the body a bit sweeter and metallic. Good!
