Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

Bottle, split at St Mars of the Desert, courtesy of Dann and Martha. Pink tinged, hazy orange. Nose has cherry lips sweets. Some cough syrup. Tart cherry. Cherry stone. Almond. Clean oak. Taste is super tart, and tannic. Dry and quenching. Some fruity sweetness on the lips. Clean and bright, crisp mouthfeel. Tart and bright cherry sweetness to finish. Just the right side of acidic. Nice one.

Tasting at Erik's, corked bottle
Not bad, but there is some footy aroma, some apricot aroma, and the dough-y flavour is even stronger than the aroma; sharp acidity.
It has the typical flaws of American lambic-style beers, the cheesy/yeasty/doughy character.

500ml bottle at Erik's. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: funky, fruity, some gueuzeish and stone fruits notes. Taste: similar, very acidic. Overall: nice aroma, but it's verly acidic for me.

Slight haze. There's a nice fresh apricot aroma, there's a nice brett accent. Good sweetness, with a bit of apricot. Brett lending an accent, too. Solid example.
