Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grape zest, light funk, and black pepper. Flavour is quite peppery, with crisp dry grape zest, light funk and black pepper. Vinous and peppery is pretty much the story here. Weird.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty subtle on the tropical fruit - I guess the rice dries much of it out. There is a bit of funk. Flavour is more expressive on the tropical fruit, with guava, apricot and nectarine, moderate pith, and light bitterness. Not a whole lot of funk. The tropical al fruit is rather subdued - could use more punch. Good beer overall, but leaves something to be desired.
