Clear blond to light orange beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, citrus impressions, bit sourish, a little dirty, smells a bit like stomach acid. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, fruity touch, some citrus, a little malty, gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: still acidic, a bit sugary, malty touch, some citrus, orange peel, rather watery, ok but not very good.

Bottle at Botteltje Ostend. The problem with chasing rates in a bar is that you've probably had all the good ones. So you end up with stuff you wouldn't touch knowing that St Bernardus is on tap. But hey raters gotta rate right??. Hazy amber colour lasting beige head. Malty cereal aroma. It's a little plain. Not worlds greatest beer. It's got some residual malty flavour. Moderate bitterness on the finish it's barely ok. Wouldn't have it again .

Bottle 33cl. poured into a tumbler. Sourish nose. Opaque ruby brown colour, good creamy tan head, good retention, fair lacing. Rich aroma roasted malt, dark and red fruits, some oak, cocoa, coffee, molasses. Taste medium sweet and bitter with light acidic notes, malty, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, ashy notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, lingering dry roasted bittersweet aftertaste, earthy and ashy notes, coffee groundings, very stout-like, very good.
