Big thanks to Jef for the sample & tderoeck since I assume that he was the intended recipient. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Great label once again as with others in the series. No carbonation intended. Darker amber. Nose is sweet malt syrup, good oxidation, almost hint sherry vs. whisky. Taste I warming malt syrup, good oxidation, orange peel, herbal bitters vaguely, warming sugar whisky, oily sugary whisky but not overly so. Vaguely watery due to lack of carbonation. Blurs the border between a very heavy desert beer or a session whisky of sorts. Not entirely my thing but very interesting and different.

Tap at beerlovers bar. Pours rather unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is bit sweet, but no overkill. Some esthers, but with remaining balance. Bit of honey. Quite fresh. Taste is somewhat bitter. Esthers are present, even some cloves. Moderately high sweetness. Mild spices. Pretty decent. Not as unique or exciting as hoped.
