Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Can shared at the Leighton tasting 08/06/2017. Many thanks to Wingman Dave for this one. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is nice floral lemon, pollen, pineapple, pale bready malts, pez sweets. Flavour is composed of pale grains, straw, light tropical fruits, light mango, crisp lemon rind. Palate is light medium bodied, highish carbonation, crisp finish. Good hoppy pale.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. The nose has some pithy lemon, pale bread, hay. Light sweet flavour with ripening citrus, dried pale malts, white grape. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, more simple pale malts, some straw, lemon peel. Quite basic overall.

Can at LKS. It pours cloudy yellow - gold with a tiny white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, green, grassy, danky, peachy, nectarine, creamy and brioche. The crisp, dry, restrained bitterness, lemon rind, grapefruit, pithy, zesty, flinty, minerality, green, grassy and some florals with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable.

Can at Hackney Levels, thanks to the Wingmane, 08/06/17. Hazed orange squash colour with a moderate off white head that soon dissipates. Nose is melon, citric peel, toasted grains, orange squash, soft bread. Taste comprises melon, tangerine, citric pith, soft bread, semi dank notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with mellow hop bitterness. Decent enough APA ... expected more though.
