Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

Keg at Hop Locker I - London. Pours murky gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds fresh, leafy hops, citrus fruits, pine. Light-medium sweet flavour with mellow bitterness, some orange, powdery hops, some tropical notes. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a certain rawness about the hops, with more powdery feel, fresh and juicy citrus fruits, tangerine, soft piney bitterness. Solid overall.

Keg at the hop locker. A clouded golden orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky off white head. Aroma is mellow citrus, wheat, white grape, mellow tropical mango notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, raw wheat, spicy citrus, slightly grassy dank hop, wheat flour,. Little plastic character in the finish. Palate is prickly highish carbonation,. Little dry mineral in the finish. Good.

Keg at MK’s, BG, 14/06/17. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is light rubber, perfume, mandarin, orange zest, light grains. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, floral notes, peach, pineapple, apricot, soft bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness. Soid session gear ... plenty of flavour for the low ABV being offered ... a touch overly floral for my liking but solid none the less.

Can from Hop Locker. Consumed as breakfast on a train. It pours murky orange with a decent white head. The aroma is very juicy, plenty of orange, tangerine, tango, marmalade, candy and straw. The taste is crisp, dry, some bitterness, orange action, tangerine, over ripe fruits, peach, pine needles, greeness, grass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great orange aroma and we’ll rounded. Tasty APA.
