Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Fergus. Pours rich, hay orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds ripening citrus fruits, orange rind, tangerine, light pine. Medium sweet flavor with a little dry bread, giant caramel, hay, pine needles, crackers. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more crackery pale malts, pine needles, minerals, orange rind. Fine.

Bottle at level 42, thanks to Fergus. It pours murky deep gold with a thick, foamy off-white head. The nose is earthy, soapy citrus, brioche, pine needles and grass. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine needles, soapy citrus, grassy, lemon peel, minerals, light spice and straw with a dry, soapy citrus finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad, if a touch soapy.

Bottle shared by Jack, thanks! Pours a cloudy gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has strong sour peach with a decent amount of funk and a bit of oak. Flavor has earthy sour peach throughout with some oak and a good amount of funk.

Draft - Barrel and sweet caramel notes with a touch of booze. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Sweet and tart notes with a bit of funk. Not bad, just odd.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy dark amber color, a bit red, beige thick head. Dark caramel brew, sweet but not cloying, it has a very strong whiskey/Bourbon presence, and a bit of wood in the end.
Very good.

At Matt’s place. Barrel, bourbon and some flowers in the pleasant aroma. Taste with bourbon and barrel bitterness notes. Sophisticated aftertaste with oak and roasted malt bitterness. Good one.
