Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Cheers to Fergus for sharing this one. Pours oily black-brown with a frothy tan head. The nose holds chalky cocoa, milk chocolate, light roast. Medium sweet flavor with modest earthy bitterness, dusty milk chocolate. Light to medium bodied, creamy, with average carbonation. Ashy roast in the finish, cocoa, earth, faint raisin. Not bad.

Bottle shared at The Cad’s 10 year get together. 29/03/2015. Thanks to Sarah for this birthday bottle. Aroma is spicy pepper, mint, hop matter, light caramel. Hazed dark orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Flavour is composed of little caramel, old spicy hop, hop matter, bit harsh bitterness round the edges. Some weird mint character. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Not that fresh, but passable, too much hop matter.

Bottle shared during the Cad’s 10th anniversary bash - Clerkenwell, London. clear orange-gold with a frothy white head. The aroma holds biscuity pale malts, grains, dry citrus. Medium sweet flavor with notes of caramel, pine, crackers, orange, general citrus rind bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. More crackers and pine in the finish. Somewhat tasty, but this beer is definitely not at its freshest.
