Bottle. Dark mahogany beer with a dark cream head. Sour and earthy aroma with light breadiness and bourbon. Bourbon and caramel flavor with sourness and light spice. Medium-plus bodied. Bourbon and caramel linger with sourness, spice, and light earthiness. Somehow it all works.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle. Orange golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of citrus, hoppy, resins. Taste is bready malt, caramel, sweetish with mango, orange citrus, grapefruit & pine earthy spicey bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours caramel malt tan head. Nose/taste of rye, bourbon, oak, caramel, maple syrup and touch of spice - medium/full bodied for the style.

Tap at West Coast Invitational 2015. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is fruit/citrus. Med body. Flavor is fruit/citrus - including tropical. Nice caramel backbone. This is really tasty. Finishes hoppy and nicely bitter.

Capped 750 from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours orange/pink with a pink tinged transient head. Aroma is tart boysenberry with a sour note. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is tart, mildly sour and the berry is clearly boysen. Mild and delicious.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep black with a nice crema head. Nose - deep treacle notes and bitter chocolate. Taste - dry liquorice, big rubbery charcoal and liquorice again. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall -

Bottle at ash’s. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coffee, liquorice, brown sugar, taste is similar, roasted malts, a little bit thin.

500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb & Stuu666. Pours jet black with a thin tan head, tight bubbles. Aromas of milky coffee, cooked oranges, milk chocolate. Taste light tar, charcoal. Little thin on the finish.
