A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of mid sweet dark malt, lot of oak, some tart red fruits. Taste of mid sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, tons of oak barrel.

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a ruby shine, low head. Strong spirited barrel aroma, port/vineous, light banana, boozy pralines. Medium full body, light sparkle, balanced, easy drinkable. Chocolate, vanilla, nutty pralines, brandy burn, flowery and citric hoppy notes, well integrated oak. Really way too easy to drink for its strength, no sticky pastry mess, lovely.

Bottle, Bierkiste. Cloudy brown golden lace. Bright spicy peppery nose, ripe bananas, whiskey, dry clove, cocoa. Medium full dry chewy body, some foaminess. Nice banana and chocolate chip base flavour, scotch whiskey notes, cocoa nibs, dry, not cloying sweet and not artificial banana. Very different from the usual Weizenbock fare, neat!

Gushing to medium, dense white head over veiled, light golden beer. Citrussy/lemony nose, if sweetish, honeyish. In the flavour there's an interesting mix of a bitterish (hoppy) flavour, soft springwater and the above, fade citrussy flavours. In the MF, the creamyness from the oats appears, contrasting but not clashing with the lively carbonation. Light body, if quite slick. Interesting, but not one I need to try again. Txs to Joren for bringing!

Very good, dense white head over fully hazy yellow beer with a myriad mini UFO's. Basil a mile out, pesto bowl opening. Bit overpowering, leaving little else besides. Again basil (fresh - the nose being more pesto-like). Bit pale malts underneath, but not sweet. Rather light MF, well carbonated, very light slickness, as well as a bit creamy from the head. It's original. The basil tastes real. But where is the beer? Txs to Joren for bringing! From BierWelt.Tirol

Bottle from the brewery a couple years back. Black as motor oil, brown head, deep complex nose with lots of coconut and vanilla-bourbon. Quite sweet at the start but then big umami with some hints of soy. Super smooth, good bitterness balancing the sweetness, coffee roast notes as well. The cocoa is a bit in the background but there's a hint of Mounds bar in there. Just excellent and well balanced.
