Tap at Giesinger Bräu Lange Nacht der Brauereien Familientag. Golden, slightly hazy. Maracuja, grapefruit, citrus, syrup, artificial. Sprizzy, there is some fruity flavour, but it weighs the beer down and makes it more sticky and less Berliner Weisse.

Picked up while visiting Rafaela & family in Schwoich. Gold with a creamy, white head. Kiwi & orange peel aroma. Taste is bitter and citric. Body to the light side, faintly watery, moderate to mild carbonation, dry. Lingering citric notes. Easygoing. Tough to find a bad beer from this brewery.

Wee cow can. Cloudy golden, golden/tan cream. Peach, citrus, tropical druit icecream aromatics. Medium full creamy body, dessert creme, good hit of fruit rind bitterness, grass, pine. Feels like a marriage of east and classic west coast IPA. Quite nice.

Can picked up at the source while visiting Rafaela and family. Red to auburn with a frothy head. Aroma of caramel, toasted cherry wood, cellar. Taste has very mildly bitter overtones on a caramel sweet base. Finishes moderate bitter with a touch of resin. Lingering caramel. Body to the light side of medium, watery texture. Easygoing. Good.

Drunk at home after party prep whilst ribs are grilling. Lightest amber, nose of apricot and lime. Great citra-like hop flavor, the lime blends right in with these hops. Perhaps the best Mexican style lager I've had, it's more like a hoppy lager. Great one Bierol!

From my first club drop, hammer! Clear hay color, very small head, sour nose with white wine notes and a lot of complexity. Wow, what a crystal clear Brett flavor, sparkly but not overly sour, really unique. Light body but full flavor with several layers. Wine background and woody notes really come through well. Excellent!

Can from the club drop, drunk after fixing a garage door (for the second time) and an LED lamp. Lightly hazy dark red, moderate head, mild fruity-citrus nose. Flavor has the astringent RedX taste in medium power, I guess as the hop bitterness is pretty mild the combo doesn't overpower the whole beer. But I have to say for me the RedX does overwhelm the subtle flavors of the fancy hop varieties. Maybe I'm to sensitive to this astringency, but tell me again why people brew red ales...
