Drunk on tap at Higgins in Munich. Super fresh! Amazing fragrant, flowery nose, fruity with light caramel. Flavor is super smooth, cara-malty, smooth stone fruit. Really nice balance. Great entry from Bierol! 3.9

Can 44 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a rich and lacing, white head with good retention. Clear, pale malt aroma with gentle, flowery hops. Medium body, rather sweet maltiness and a very soft and velvety mouthfeel. Discreet bitterness. A welcoming and luxurious Helles. 080925

Rate 3.6, buying this beer at the rampenverkauf, Franstanz, in august 2024, best before 11/24, opening this can yesterday, at night, windy and stormy and regular golden ale, dry, malty, a bit metalic, fruity, a bit tropical, light bitterness.

Can thanks to Rafaela. Gold with frothy, white head. Aroma of honey, grass and orange peel. Taste is moderate bitter, faint tart, with honey and dough sweet undertones. Medium bodied, good chewiness given the ABV, moderate carbonation. Good one.

Fancy bottle, Mangled Fly tasting, huge thanks F&L! The bottle opened with a pop almost, and the pour showed immense carbonation, gushing out quickly from the glass. Very dark brown, blackish body, infection tan head. Mildly phenolic, sweetish bit ashy, sourish raisin notes, bit of old barrel, some umami, soy sauce. Lean, dry, soft taste, some smooth rum barrel touches, caramelly, vague raisins, coffee, light phenolic touches, bitterish touches. Oh man, it's obvious this was a very, very good beer, still is, to a point, but it's clearly gone south - hope it's just this bottle.

Bottle that I picked up from Bierkiste. Consumed in the company of Ursula and Marko Saturday 19th July 2025 at the Mangled Ham tasting. Wow this was a really lively pour, beer was super eager to depart the bottle, something is possibly a bit wrong here, dry, feels like its lost something, really thin, body is lacking it's not a bad beer but for these guys not amazing either. I'm not a big fan of rum cask aged beers but the rum isn't overly assertive here. Not totally my thing, thin and lacking.

Can thanks to Rafaela! Orange with a haze and tiny floaters. Aroma of orange juice and pith. Taste is bitter with a strong citric twist and faint, fruit candy sweet undertones. Medium bodied, moderate catbonation, juicy throughout. Goes down real easy. A good one.

Can thanks to Rafaela! Hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of oranges, orange-pith, and softer but sweeter mango. Taste is citric bitter over a solid malty backbone with plenty of oatmeal sweetness underneath. Body to the full side of medium, moderate carbonation, dry. Lingering citric bitterness. Good one.
