31/10/2011 37.5cl bottle @ Domus Birrae, Rome- BB: 1/12 (2011-606)

Cloudy brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable and adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, unpleasant, paint, mocha, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus start, bit of dried fruits. Aftertaste: bitter chocolate and citrus fruits, zest. Meh, this is no porter.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of pear and apple fruit and bread with a touch of dried fruits. Sweet bready flavour with grass and dried fruit

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet and yeasty aroma with hoppy and fruity notes. Hoppy flavour with lemons, yeast and pine. Finished yeasty, dry and bitter.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Toffee notes. Moderate bitter light sweet flavor. Oily palate. More malt than hopps.

Bottle courtesy HenrikSoegaard. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are malt, burnt caramel, hops and nuts.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrusy hops, and grass. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus, grass, hops, and fruits - especially peaches, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of brown sugar, caramel, and bread, as well as lighter notes of vinegar. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of vinegar, leading to a dry finish.

Hazy mahogany with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and nuts. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate, nuts and caramel notes. Finished sweet.

Bottled@Blindtasting at fonefan. Deep amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, fruity, mildly coffeeish as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is sour wood, liquorice, some mild toasted and ashy notes as well. Mild berryish notes.

Bottle 37,5 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head. Citrusy hops in the nose. Light body, lightly sweet fruit and again a little citrusy hops. Dry but not overly bitter finish. Based on the hop character I’d call this an APA rather than an EPA. 050610
