Tap at Bungalow. Dry, lemony nose, grapefruit, minerals. Very dry flavor, very grassy and bitter. Light body, a bit of bread. Crisp and nicely drinkable. Very long-lasting bitterness untypical of the style but good.

Dark brown color. Chocolate prunes, dark raisins in the nose. The mouth is a bit tarter than I want, but full bodied with lots of dark fruit notes, almost vinous in its character. I didn’t like it initially, but after a couple sips it got mouth better though the sourness is borderline too much. Full chocolate truffle and prunes finish.

Tap at 1020. Shiny brown-orange, low head. Fruity nose, orange, caramel, stewed stone fruits. Nicely bitter, prickly, peppery, Sprite fruitiness that is a bit off putting. Not as good as some of the others in this series.

Bottle @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours slightly hazy coffee brown with airy tan head. Sweet aroma of malt and molasses. Sourish flavour of stale grain, with notes of diacethylene and faint touches of hop. Sour aftertaste. Filth!

Tap. Some funky rice aspect in the nose from the sakekasu, otherwise a rather typical witbier. Lemony wheat, oranges. Smooth and decent, not so surprising.

Tap at Yellow Ape. Malty nose, caramel, light and spicy Belgian yeast. Malty flavor, Belgian yeastiness, somewhat dry enough finish with enough bitterness. Rather typical for a Belgian red or amber. Ok but not so interesting.
