Had at TRAF 2006. Pitch black color, dark head with a salty, dark chocolate and liquorice nose. A rich full body with lots of dark chocolate flavor, but that also has hops punching your taste buds and pushing them to the limit. Somewhat resiny and rich. Dark chocolate bitter, bitter, bitter finish. A very bitter imperial stout that I could still feel the hops lingering even after I tried a few other less hoppy beers. This thing kicks your ass and my mouth loves the punishment. Rerate: Had off of a tap. Bitterness wasn’t as strong and depth not as much. Still a highly enjoyable beer, but rating now reflects a mix of two ratings. Original: 8/4/8/5/17=4.2

Mahogany color. Malty lemon nose. Malty mouth with caramel, cherries, strawberries and a touch of milk chocolate. Malty dry finish.

Deep amber color. Malty mouth with bread, caramel, dry bready caramel finish.

Golden color, mildly floral nose with a touch of honey. Very carbonated mouth, hop accented, but does have a solid malty backbone, with pineapple, apple and a touch of caramel. Dry mildly bitter finish.

Dark brown color, sweet caramel, nutty nose. Light chocolate nutty mouth, sweet maltiness. Sweet malty finish. Too sweet to really enjoy.

Cloudy brownish orange color with a big banana nose with a hint of milk chocolate. Med-full body. Mouth chocolate, cloves, bananas in the mouth. Full chocolatey banana finish. Definetely their best beer.
