Tap at Ant n Bee, Tokyo. Golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast. Flavour is sweet, slightly spicy, a bit of hops.

On tap at Beer Stand Molto. It poured a clear orange-gold with a white head. A nice citrus aroma wafted from the glass but was easy to drink. Quite bitter with a hint of spice at first. As it warmed up you could see more of the Belgian influence(possibly they used a Belgian yest strain?) which made it zesty, spicy and kind of sour with a bite to it. It had a really nice body and mouthfeel. An interesting beer worth trying out. This is the second nice Shonan Beer I’ve had recently...

At the Yokohama Brewer’s Cup, it pours an opaque black with a minimal tan head. It has a decent chocolate aroma and looks nice. A mild mouthfeel, easy to drink with chocolate at first and then had a bit of a burnt aftertaste. A very solid chocolate porter. Good.

Bottle at RBJG 2 Grand Tasting, thanks KyotoLefty. Brown colour with a very small white head. Sweet aroma of plum and alcohol. Rich flavour of dried fruits, plum, cherries with just a hint of alcohol.

light amber golden color. Tangerine and oranges in the nose. Nicely balanced. Moderate bitterness that lingers in the finish.

Draught at Bashamichi. Deep orange, clear, lace. Oily citrus nose, sweet oranges, pepper, grass, caramel. Oily palate, sweet orange flavor, tangy, peppery, a bit spritzy. Nice.
