Description
Our beer is and will always be clean and consistent with a strong focus on balance. We feel our four flagship offerings best represent Pollyanna and take pride in their year-round availability (we package everything in cans and bottles). We're constantly experimenting with local fruits and spices, seasonal lagers, barrel-aging, wild yeast, and bacteria. In our intimate and truly unique taprooms, we offer tasting flights, draft pours, and to-go 64oz growlers, 32oz howlers, or 32oz crowler cans. Our Lemont location offers a scenic look at the brewery, our Roselle location offers a wide array of wood barrels, Italian Foudres, and a smaller brewhouse for unique one-off offerings, and our St Charles location offers our largest taproom and a beautiful view of the Fox River. Keep an eye out for a constant rotation of special firkins and taproom only offerings at each location.

2017 RIS tasting. Bomber. Still seeking the killer beer. Another perfectly normal RIS, black body small, tan head. Roast grains, chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Taste is the same but with some sweet notes and perhaps more accent on the chocolate.

4 month old can. Hazy orange body, unfiltered. Foam, patchy, steady bright white head. Drinks like a pretty standard APA, maybe a little thin with the malts..going for a new school body profile, but not really having the hops or chops to back it up. Drinkable. Mild earthy NW hop balance. OK.

Light pils grain nose with nice sprite, lemon-lime aromas. Nice raspy carbonation. Uber refreshing. Limeade like finish.

Pour is a hazy pink color with a whiteish pink head. Aroma is a big fresh dose of raspberry. Flavor is also a nice fresh raspberry with just enough wheat malt to give this some body. Finish is a bit tart and palate cleansing. Pretty nice fruit beer and nothing artificial here as far as I can tell.

Draught @ One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Pours dark orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of sweet fruits, caramely malts, hints of grass and pine. Taste is sweetish, fruity and slightly lemony with some citrus, caramel, pine and grapefruit. Finish is fruity, slightly earthy and grainy malty with some caramel, pine and grass. Quite fruity and lemony for a California Common.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden orange appearance with a white head. Aroma is full of chemicals, plastic, and citrus. Oh boy, I’m scared to drink this. Twangy. Lemon, lime, citrus, bunch of green apple, full of chemicals. Awful and tastes like you’re drinking from the Cuyahoga River. Likely flammable.
