330ml bottle by the courtesy of Finn. Clear late straw coloured body. Loose white head, dissipating fairly quickly. Poor lacing. Mild ginger aroma, pale malts beneath. Candy sweet taste of ginger and that’s it. Lively carbonated. Maybe ok as a sweet soft drink (Tromsø 01.06.2014).

0,33L bottle. Pours clear golden with white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet and ginger. Taste is very sweet, ginger; it feels artificial. Overall: as far as beers go, this just isn’t a beer. As far as just random drinks go, if you like ginger, you won’t mind this one.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a fine frothy white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and ginger.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, some spices and ginger.
Overall impression: They managed to get a lot of ginger in the flavor. So for those who like it…...for me a little bit to sweet. It could otherwise be a nice thirst quencher in the summer sun.
Personal stats: Bottle from Meny Begby in Fredrikstad, Norway

Smaker mye som EC Dahls legendariske ingefærøl, med med en skarpere smak, som trolig er alkoholen

Bottle 33 cl. Golden, clear with minimal white head. Ginger aroma, light bitter with a short ginger/anis end. Taste like Norwegian ingefærøl soda.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, dense off-white head. The aroma has ginger and white sugar, not much else, if anything. Some lemony flavors, with white sugar and lots of ginger. Medium to thin on the palate, soft carbonation. Short ginger finish with white sugar. Doubt this one has anything to do here on ratebeer, but it’s sort of pleasant anyway. 140315
