On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is pear juice!

Bag in Box at Ackney - cheers to Dirty LKS. It pours clear greenish - yellow with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, tart, tangy, pear, apple, gooseberry, vinous, floral, vanilla and wood. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, vinous, gooseberry, white grape skin, pear, elderflower and granny smith apple with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Was expecting a lot worse tbh. Drinks pretty smooth.

Bag in a box split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18 ... Ww - a Surrey rate. .. who knew!!! Almost translucent palest of yellows witype an off white cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is pear drop, sweet notes, grass, caramel. Taste comprises ripe pear, grass, straw, bitter sweet orchard fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, big drying close with residual sweetness. Ok ... way better than I'd expected.

Shared at the Cotteridge Convention, 2018. Poured almost clear watery opaque. The flavour is light sweet with a watery crisp fresh crisp apple palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bag in a box at Cotteridge Convention 2018. Light pear flavour. Not too sweet. Some tannin on finish. Decent pear juice I thought. Thanks Leighton.

Bag in a box in Hackney - picked up at Iceland. Pours clear, pale yellow. Decent, a little industrial, some candy pear, white sugar. Medium sweetness. Medium bodied, soft. Light tang in the finish, ripe pears, a little lemon. So so.
