Relative brought this one over. Couldn’t remember where he bought it, or when. This stuff has popped up at some bad festivals in my time, but I’ve never seen it for sale anywhere locally before.
Wine glass. Pale, gray, ginger ale, spritzy.
Smells of seltzer & old lady perfume. Bad dried fruit, rubber, & plastic.
Taste was a sugary/soapy mess of baby food pear puree & plastic pen caps. Headache inducing Sweet Tart candies, shot straight to your brain thanks to the harsh carbonation. So much off-putting canned plastic fruit & syrup. Thin. Oddly tart & bitter, like a mild poison.
A disaster. Completely.

Bottled 330ml (K-Citymarket)
Pale yellow, small white head. Soap, dish cleanser aroma. Medium-bodied. Soapy, overly sweet-sugary flavor. Ginger in the aftertaste. Burning ginger in the aftertaste. Too, too sweet "beer".

Bottle at The Rover, Göteborg, on July 27, 2012Clear golden color, small white head. Chalky scent. Trocadero, smågodis/röda ferraribilar, very very very sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, very low bitterness.I was told there was plenty of ginger in there too, but I have problems feeling ginger, so can’t say for it myself.

Bottle on a train in London heading to Luton. This beer should probably remain rateable so the entry can act as a warning to any unsuspecting ticker that may want to drink this atrocity. It pours clear gold, effervescent with a fine, white foam head. There is some spicy ginger on the nose, with hints of the sugar onslaught to come. The flavor is hugely, sickly sweet, very syrupy, with just nips of ginger to provide a meek kick. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sticky and stupidly sweet to finish with just moderate ginger character. Just way too sweet. Anyone who knows me knows that I will rarely not finish my beverage; I had to dump a good portion of this bottle.

Bottle left over from a seventies party that we held a few months back, it was sat looking forlon in the fridge. Consumed 09.07.12 Looks like fizzy water, maybe with just the merest green tint. Sweet, fizzy and forgettable. A bit too fizzy I think, possibly some fruit on the nose, not great but to be fair there are a lot worse drinks out there. A5 A3 T4 P2 Ov9 2.3

Bottled. A very light yellow perry with a white head. The aroma has notes of vinegar and lemon. The flavor is acidic with notes of lemon and pears, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
