Can shared by Cuso, thanks! Assertively sour, clean lactic character with a slightly exotic citrusy hoppy edge. Easy drinking, traditional with a twist. Very good.

Hazy deep amber and copper body with a super large and rich seven centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grass, light wheat, tons of honey, rich flowers with a super nice funky yeast and wild smell with funk, sour grapes, herbs and acidic notes throughout. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong herbal and grassy flavour at first with a lot of honey sweetness, some big malt notes and a good finish that shows a lot of complexity throughout. Aftertaste is rich with fruit, yeast, wheat, grass and a lot of floral elements - very nice. Overall, a very good complex beer that shows a lot of character and is well worth trying if you can find it! Beware - when opening, the neck of my bottle broke off and exploded, leaving glass and shards all around my three year old daughter. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 27-May-2016 for US6,99 sampled on the roof of my hotel in Lower Manhattan, New York on 28-May-2016.

The Sampler, Brooklyn can: pours light gold white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with many pale malts. Taste is like a golden ale that is on the hoppier end. Still it is very smooth. Easy to drink. Body is not too light. Kind of grainy. Not bad.

Whole Foods Upper East Side bottle: pours hazy, dull yellow with a big white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk, rhubarb, and honey. Tatse is ever so slightly tart. Rhubarb is pretty light in there. Mellow honey sweetness. Nice kind of saison.

Bottle at home grabbed from local whole foods where it seems so new deal was made and Newburgh was prevalent and most welcome by me. Dirty pour and white one finger head. Nose is decent honey and vegetal tones with farmhouse regulars. Tastes of honey for sure, barnyard, rhubarb, yeast, light banana, and some light spice. Chewy palate with lingering spice and honey notes. Interesting
