Pours hazy gold into a stein. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Caramel aromas. Crisp with honey, sourdough and caramel front to back. Medium length sour pit fruit finish.

I guess they updated the old Pineapple Shirt cider and added guava. It smells like pineapples and apples. The flavor is kind of sweet but thankfully isn’t the sugar bomb I was expecting. Pineapple is prominent. Guava less so. It’s pretty good though nothing to get excited about.

Bottle pour. Opaque dark brown with thin ring of head, no lacing. Aroma is strong black molasses, toffee, mild dark fruit. Taste is strong caramel, dark fruit/raisin, molasses. Smooth, thick texture, flat-to-soft carbonation and finish as taste. Belgian on the dark side. Pretty decent.

Someone shared this old bre. Brownish pour and filmy beige head. Nose is rootbeer and dark fruit. Tastes of cherry’s rootbeer, golden raisins. Body is light and old.
