330ml bottle. Cloudy, auburn colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, dark beige head. Toasty, dark malty, slightly nutty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of toasted nuts, dark fruit, tonka beans. Taste is toasty, dark malty, spicy and slightly yeasty fruity, slightly nutty and alcoholic, hints of tonka beans, dark fruit, a touch of liquorice; warming, alcoholic finish. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. A bit imbalanced, quite alcoholic - not really convincing.

--Bottled at AndySnow tasting. -- Clear golden, small head. Tart raspberries with honey and artificial sweetener up front. Very sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Custard and artificial sweetener. Inky saccharine finish. Cloying.

Sweet-ish, pale malty, slightly yeasty spicy and fruity aroma, hints of white bread, grapefruit syrup, a touch of blood orange. Taste is yeasty spicy and slightly fruity, slightly bitter, hints of aniseed, some grapefruit, some zesty bitterness, pale malty basis. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Slightly disharmonious, minimally artificial - not really convincing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready, pale malty and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of mandarine, orange peel, white bread crust, spicy overtones with a touch of aniseed, some sugar cane, brown sugar. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally bready, pale malty, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy with some zesty bitterness, notes of aniseed, mandarine, hints of white bread, some orange peel. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly refreshing, relatively bready malty, feels almost like Pastis or Ouzo BA due to the more than subtle aniseed flavours; if they aren't an effect that traces back to the usage of sugar cane and mandarine extract... meh!

Gedronken bij Brew@thezoo. Donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is eveneens koffieachtig en licht bitter. De koffiesmaak blijft wel even hangen.
