06/10/2018 - sampled from bottle on RBBSG 2018 Dark amber, small head. Nose is dark malts, caramel, fruits, vanilla. Taste is the same with some barrel and some old ale feel. Nice.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy dense off-white to beige head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, caramel, some dried fruits, malty, sweetish impression. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweetish, some caramel, vanilla notes, bit acidic, lots of alcohol, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: alcohol, sweet, caramel notes, malty.

Sampled from bottle @ late RBBSG 2018. Clear red-brown color, average to medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, coffee. Taste malts, coffee, roast, malt bitter, rye, liquor, bitter. Hmm initially I liked it but after a while it becomes a bit less good imo. Barleywine + coffee + barrel aging doesn't seem to be a great combination to me.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown ruby with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, scotch, peat, roast, cocoa. Slick body, roast, cocoa, peat, boozy, very good.

[ As Hangar 24 Iconic Double IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, dusty, old fashion IPA'ish. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, pine - citrus, old fashion IPA'ish, medium dry. 355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, zesty notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit. Taste is crisp, bitter, piney and citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon zest, some grapefruit and orange; rather weak caramel malty basis. Very clean, almost a bit simple and monotonous.
