On tap at Asterix Cervejeria, pours a clear copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma reveals vibrant tropical fruits, melon, bitter citrus and resinous hops. Flavour is much the same, with resinous hops, tropical fruits, and some melon. Maybe slight traces of butter, but the hops and fruitiness are nicely powerful. Good.

Cloudy, pale, medium head. Well, lots of galaxy and a fair bit of bitterness. I can handle this much galaxy so this totally works for me. Okay malt and a bit of alcohol in the finish.

Opaque and pale. Medium head. Lots of stone fruit on the nose, medium pale malt, bright melon, orange and apricot hop expression. Darn fine for a hazy.

Reddish-brown. Thin head. Ok this has bubblegum in the nose…ferm got too high. Wrong yeast? I remember that Wyeast Scottish Ale…you have to focus on the fermentation for this style because ordinary yeasts always kick off fucking bubblegum. Tastes like boozy bubblegum, a total miss.

Didn't say anything about port barrels or collab on the menu, but was Gorm at 10.8%. Medium amber-brown. Thin head. Quite sweet, both bubblegum and plastic phenols in there. Boozy. Malt character is ok, some sultana and fig but otherwise the ferm kicks off way too many phenols. Feels like some upside was left on the table here, with a clunky fermentation.
