22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. 2015 bottle #143/1500. Black with 1.5 fingers of light tan head. Nice head retention and lacing. Aromas of mostly whiskey and light oak, some roasty notes. Tastes of caramel, dark chocolate, a little dark fruit, oak, some whiskey, some roasty notes. Medium body with a dry and slightly warm finish. More oak than whiskey. Solid but not quite up to snuff compared to others of the style, especially AleWerks Bourbon Barrel Porter.

New rating: a lot drier than last time I had. Much improved, more fitting for style and nice drinking. Old rating:Some roast and lots of caramel. Too sweet for dry stout. Black pour with OK head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Tap at space bar.
