Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small foamy tan head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was vegetal, sweetish and had a bit of tropical fruit. The flavor was bitter and vegetal with toffee, tropical fruit and an astringent presence. Medium length finish. Medium body and a bit undercarbonated. Meh.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking.Hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, hops and toasted malt. The finish is fruity up front with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
