On tap at Big Hunt pours an opaque, oily black with some beige head and plenty of legs. Nose is very nice and inviting, plenty of molasses and chocolate, cane sugar, some raisin, a little pencil lead. Flavor is even nicer, sweet with milk chocolate, cinnamon, raisins, cola, malt, mild pepper, a little inky. Finishes a touch sweet, a touch spicy. Very well done.

Bottle sample at Savor. Pretty much black color, small beige head. Nice aroma of dark chocolate with pepper flesh, vanilla. Taste has pretty hefty chili heat on a dark roasty background, tannins and vanilla lurking in the background. Definitely a sipper, and a good festival beer.
