Description
The brewery was founded in May 2007 under the name Quercus Devon Ales in Churchstow, Devon. In 2011 new owners took over the brewery till 2016.

In September 2016 the business was purchased by a consortium led by city insurance specialist John Tiner and his wife Geraldine. They changed its name to the current one. In 2017 the brewery moved to the current location.

Salcombe Brewery Co. has stunning views towards the Salcombe Ria. The innovative new brewery is a unique concept situated above a decommissioned water reservoir, utilising the natural ambient temperature of the underground facility, making the brewery as energy efficient as possible. Together with the surrounding nature and views towards Salcombe, it’s a great place for local and visiting customers to enjoy.

500ml bottle; BBE Jan 2020. Drank in the afternoon sun on my patio on 27th June 2019. Clear golden/amber body, white crown. Aroma and taste were both caramel forward in nature and the whole brew is sweet with very little bitterness. My sweet tooth liked it though.
