Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.

It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!

We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.

Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

Deep dark brown with a frothy tan head. For a strong mild it pulls its punches with some chocolate malt in the nose and flavour, and some fruity, leafy notes.

500ml bottle in Vine and Juniper, an up market Wine and Gin bar/shop in Ludlow (plenty of beer and cider too). Clean and clear golden pour, white head. Crisp citrus leaning on a solid malty base, this is a pleasant Lager all round.

Gravity fed third of a pint, Bridgnorth CAMRA Beer Festival, 8th September 2023. Pale, straw blonde with no head. Perfumed with a strong 'farmyard' like taste, strange flavours I thought.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a rich ruby with a small off-white head. There’s a deep sensuous aroma of malts, chocolate and cherries. Chocolate and cherries again in the mouth, but now joined by liquorice and hints of aniseed, raisins and spices. Some underlying bitterness too. Finish is quite fruity. This is quite nice – very drunkable for the strength.

500ml bottle bought at Hay Wines, Ledbury and drunk at home some time later. Mahogany, mostly clear with a small beige/tan head. Chocolate malts, liquorice and a little bit of cherry. Sweet to the fore with a lightly medicinal bitterness on the finish, and finishing drier than I'd expect. Some horehound candy in the aftertaste. I love strong minds, no exception here.
