Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.

It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!

We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.

Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

Bottle. Clear golden, smaller white head, not that lasting. Medium biscuity nose, some bready notes, lots of grains. Medium bitterness, mostly grassy. Lasting aftertaste. Light body. Very drinkable.

Hand-pulled pint at the Crown Inn, Oakengates on 4th August 2023. Walt's wake sadly, but life goes on. It's a black, moody looking thing, beige crust on top and good with cheese & pickle sandwiches. Malty, but slightly confused really, blending 15 different malts (and 15 different hops) can't be easy and I'm not convinced the idea works that well. My pint might have been towards the end of the barrel too, as I thought it a little 'stale and old'. Anyway, scored objectively.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. There’s malts and some generic citrus in the aroma. In the mouth it is instantly obvious that citra hops are involved. Citrus bitterness, lime and lemongrass. Finish is bitter and sticky. Not at all keen on this.
