Description
A humble brewery making honest beer.
After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Cheers!

750ML bottle. split 2 ways, 45F in stemware. sat upright for a month and still extremely cloudy pour. 1 finger white head with a cloudy yellow pink color. This smells amazing! The citra dry-hop is awesome. Decent mouthfeel, like a soda or tonic water. good citrus presence, nice sea salt. just really exceptional mouthfeel and a decent taste that fades a bit too fast, fleeting almost. still a good beer I’d buy again at $13 per 750ML

Can, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy golden with a tiny head. Aroma brings out coriander, light salt, and a little tartness. Flavour is bright, with a pleasant citrus tartness, light wheat, a little salt and a touch of coriander. Bright and fresh, with nothing too overdone. Good stuff.

Purchased a 750 at the brewery. Massive carbonation level that made the cork fly off after two twists of the cage. Pretty nice aroma of lemon rind, peppery yeast, and a good amount of Brettanomyces. The flavor has a small level of Brett throughout the sip. Right now it still shows a great level of citrus. Very nice mouthfeel, with a crisp effervescent finish. I enjoyed this a lot.

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops. Pours gold with a 2 finger foamy white head. Aromas of brett funk and spice. Taste is very effervescent and thin with notes of funk yeast and a lingering bitterness that seems slightly stale.

Sampled at the brewery. Pale cloudy yellow with low carbonation level. The aroma is like they took some lemons and squeezed them right into the keg. Very bright citrus. The flavor still shows me the Pilsener malt with light grain body and a nice swift slap in the face with lemons. Light body and very easy to drink on a warm summer day. It even shows me a slight funk in here, however the bartender did say the keg was getting ready to kick so... Could be yeast sediment. No matter, very refreshing.

Draft at Lost Nation. Orange color, no head. Big citrus nose with light yeast. The flavor is about what it should be. Light yeast presence, good citrus hops with a lasting citrus after the swallow. Very subtle funk hidden under the citrus. Nice but nothing to memorable.

Sample at LN. Indeed pitch black color, fast dying head. Aroma is ashy. Roasted grain and chocolate. The flavor starts ashy then turns into a light chocolate. Body is about right for the gravity, lean. Light lingering charred grain finish.

Draft at Lost Nation. Pale yellow with fast dying head. Aroma is sugar coated fruits, citrus zest and grain. Well, these guys really love the session ales, lighter in body as it should be. I prefer this over thier Mosiac. Seems to have a bit more flavor. Grain compliments the hops, very nice display of galaxy.

Draft @ LN. Clnearly clear pale.yellow, no head in the sample glass. Aroma is a mild Mosiac, light onion, weak scallion, grass. Weak grain presence. Pale grain base with the light lingering scallion and grassy finish. Body is very lean like most session IPA’s but no worries it is still super drinkable. No flaws at all.

On tap at Hinesburg public house.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. There’s barely any lacing.
The smell starts off with a rustic to funky sweet citrus running over top of a light bubblegum aroma.
The taste was mainly sweet through the bubblegum and citrus. Lingering sweet bubblegum aftertaste leads to a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and leaves a sticky sweet smoothness over my tongue.
Overall, for a saison, it’s super sweet. I didn’t mind it but not exactly 100 % true to style.
