Description
A humble brewery making honest beer.
After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Cheers!

Draft at Positive Pie, Montpelier, VT. Clear gold with slight head retention. Aroma is clean grain, Pilsner malt and light lager yeast byproduct.
Palate is clean and crisp with alight abrupt noble hop bitterness. Pretty well made and spot on for the style. Easy to drink in any season, fall, winter… summer. Solid but I just wish it had something to distinguish itself from any other Pils. If you like the style you will enjoy this, clean.

Bottle shared by Steve_0 at Zwanze Day. Thanks! Pours a somewhat hazy yellow appearance with a fizzy white head. Aroma has some funk, lemon tartness, coriander, and pepper. Low sweetness and bitterness. Pretty high carbonation. Some salt and coriander but neither is too strong. Lightly tart with some wheat and citrus notes. Refreshing. Pretty standard rendition of the style and that’s nice.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 2 as ’Dry Hopped Gose’, 13/08/14. Opaque yellow golden with moderate off white spotting/edgework. Nose is orange squash, lemon rind, light pine, juicy hop vibes, touch of pink grapefruit. Taste comprises tangerine, red grapefruit, light acidity, straw, good hop coating and a lick of pine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent tasty affair but hopped to high heaven and nothing close to the real thing.
