Description
A humble brewery making honest beer.

After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Cheers!

GBBF Day 2. Cask. As ’Dry Hopped Gose’. Clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and airy and crisp. Savoury beer with a nice undertone of sherbet and then a slighty sour citrus and limey coriander. Light dry finish. Tasty and drinkable.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2 as Lost Nation Dry Hopped Gose. Murky milky color, no head. Smell and tastes almost like Fanta lemonade. Quite nice imo, but not really a beer now is it? Really a sour salty Fanta lemonade. Funny.

Cask, dry-hopped version at GBBF 2014. It pours cloudy creamy gold with a tiny white head. The nose is big coriander, earth, doughy, salty, creamy, tropical fruits, citrus, barnyard and light barnyard. The taste is tart, bitter, orange, salty, herbal, minerals, lactic, sherbet, some acidity and light mouth-pucker with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty alright.

Cloudy looks like wort. 1 finger head. Smells really great! Just loads of galaxy hops. Thin body but substantially punchy in bitterness. Astringent and resinous.

Off yellow and clear. Smells like cedar chips and wood. Oaky with a thick and heavy malt backbone. Very commanding and present with burnt sugar, vanilla and caramel apple.
