Beginning in 1994 with a 7 barrel converted dairy system, we set and accomplished the goal of providing unique traditional ales & lagers available through OHB. Quickly we outgrew that system.

In 1997, we began the renovation of an 1880 Historic Landmark building, which now houses our brewing facilities, a 25-barrel Price Schonstrom brew house.

Tap at the BeerTemple, 6th June 2022. Pours black. Aroma is liquorice, liquor and barrel. Taste is bittersweet, liquorice, wood and barrel, tequila comes through. Very good

Table Rock Pale Ale from Olde Hickory Brewery

Light copper color with lasting thin head. Mild floral and pine resin aroma. Flavor is a nice balance of malt sweetness and quick hitting hop bitterness. Moderate hop bitter aftertaste.

Draft at Olde Hickory. Pours a hazy, straw gold with a finger of white head that lingers. Aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple and citrus. Light on the palate with clean and crisp finish. Medium bitterness on the finish with pineapple and pith.

Draft at Olde Hickory. Pours a deep chestnut brown with a finger of beige head that lingers. Coffee, roasted malt and a touch of caramel. Smooth, but some roasty coffee-like bitterness. Drying finish.

Draft at Olde Hickory. Pours a clear pale gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Notes of light grain and not much else on the nose. Light and watery on the palate. Easy drinking, but not much going on.

Draft at Olde Hickory. Pours a deep gold with a full two fingers of white head that lingers. Malt, bread and light toasted bread notes on the nose. Palate shows more of the same with a full-bodied lager mouthfeel. Balanced finish with some honey and bread and light peppery hop notes.
