Description
Created in Birmingham in 2016 by cousins Josh and Calum, GlassHouse Beer Co. has grown in leaps and bounds on the back of its innovative vegan beers.

Graduating from Josh’s mum’s greenhouse in 2018 (where the brewery gets its name), GlassHouse had a rocky period over the pandemic but managed to push through by producing a great range of cans.

GlassHouse beer isn’t fined or filtered, and while it has been known to produce a milk stout or two, its beers are typically vegan. While they’re available nationally, the team’s glare is firmly fixed on improving and supporting the Birmingham beer scene.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a pleasing light creamy sweetness. Good Nelson here, can taste a light white wine and gooseberry without even trying and, that doesn't happen too often these days. Light bright citra goes very well as a companion, always did when you could taste the Nelson! A mild savoury hop vibe, not particularly skunky in nature, just savoury. El Dorado? Maybe a bit of Sakura on the back end, if you are looking for it. Delighted at the quality of the Nelson and the Citra here and the delivery of the same in this light crisp and highly quaffable dipa.
