A very nice mild. I had half a pint in the Oxford Road Tap while doing the CAMRA Mid Magic challenge.

Poured wonderfully at the Mount Pleasant, Sedgley. Deep, almost rownish gold, with a large tight beige head. Hay, some metallic notes, buttered toast in the aroma. Taste is sweet, some physalis and brown sugar, with loads of bittering hops coming in and giving a nice bitterness to the finish. However it's got that English golden character that turns me off a bit. A good enough beer just not my cup of tea.

From cask at Victoria Tap, Manchester, 28.03.25. Golden amber. Dense and persistent beige head and lacing. Fine aroma of sweet pale malt, medium roasted malt, pine and Sevilla marmalade. Good! Perhaps slightly waterish.
