Keg at Bianca Road taproom, Enid Street, 13/12/23. Black with little, if anything, in the way of a head. Nose is caramel, milk chocolate, mellow roast, dark malts. Taste comprises mellow roast, dark malts, chocolate, light spice, caramel, yes ... you can pick up a bit of Curly Wurly but likely only due to the name. Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a kiss of booze. Okay stuff ... an easy enough sipper for 11% if somewhat simplistic.

Keg at Bianca Road taproom, Enid Street, 13/12/23. Golden blonde topped with a white cap. Nose is pale malts, herb, toasted grains, lemon nip. Taste comprises straw, grains, pale malts, wheaten notes, subtle herb, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not the total disaster to myself that the other rates so far suggested (2.37 average), but a little wishy washy and flabby in places.
