Can from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Pours light hazed copper amber with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, earth, hops. Taste: light to moderate sweet with slightly more bitterness, caramel, citrus peel, earth, grass. Medium body with fine carbonation. A lovely drop.

Keg at RN Volunteer, Bristol. Aroma has chocolate and bitter coffee edge. Dark and glossy. Thin beige head. Light coffee bitterness throughout. Underlying sweet berries. Chocolate. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. OK... just lacks something somehow.

440ml can from Darts Farm, Topsham. Pours clear gold with white foam. Aroma: grains, light caramel, somewhat herbal. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, clean, light dry, hop spice finish. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Tasty!

440ml can from Hops & Crafts, Exeter. Drunk at our lodge in Finlake. Pours clear gold, large white head. Good rich malt definition on the nose. Flavour profile is rich, as expected, good malt expressions, Fuggles quite distinctive. Nicely done.

Cask handpull at Fuggles Beer Cafe Royal Tunbridge Wells. Clear russet colour lasting beige. Interesting sweetish malty toffee English IPA. Some earthy hops. Very decent I thought.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 12th February 2024. Deep copper with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Hoppy aroma. Zesty, thick tangerine peel and bitter grasses in-mouth and a bitter finish with spiced fruits. Full bodied with an engaging texture. Exquisite.
