Cask at the Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace. Honey coloured pour with a light beige head. Tropical fruit and sweet citrus aroma. Flavours of pear drops and toffee. Not bad.

Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. Golden amber with a loose white head; fresh grassy aroma; sweet and fruit in the mouth with some berry fruit; and a strong, crisp, grassy, bitter finish. A rather good citrus-free summer ale.

Cask at Ogilvy, Woking. 16/06/16. Another pale that has zero aroma - a hint ofsomething. Pleasant enough palate but tastrs of sweet FA. Looks good though - a dark amber with a fluffy white head. Bland.

Pours a clear bright golden colour with a minimal loose white head that quickly dissipated to a loose film. Light malt and citrus aroma; similar taste, light sweet malt and citrus hop bitterness with a crisp dry finish. A good refreshing summer beer.

Light haze on this gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Modest sweetness from the light pale malts. Floral sweetness. Hops are a light but spicy tangerine - orange. Dry spicy finish shows some sweet esters and mild pine. Mild bitter linger. Not bad, just a little recessed.

Cask at the Northcote, 16/05/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is pale malt, bread, grain, light citric notes. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, soft bread, light vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with gentle hop bitterness. Ok gold.
