Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - bright golden with a decent white head. Nose - caramel, bread and just a little herby/grassiness. Taste - more caramel, more bread or biscuit. Only a hint of citrus and you have to look for it. Palate - light to medium bodied, malty sweet middle. The finish could be more bitter. Overall - just want a touch more bitterness.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - golden and bright. Snow white, well proportioned head. Nose - lemon, honey and bready. Taste - lemon and bread again, just an edge of caramel. Palate - tangy and light to medium bodied. Tangy finish, but would like more bitterness. Overall - a decent example of the style though more bitterness preferable.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - Nose - the maple syrup and chocolate competes nicely with the coffee , thank goodness. Taste - brown sugar, maple syrup, chocolate and coffee. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. A fairly sweet finish, but the coffee roast cleanses the palate to some extent. Overall - dessert in a can.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - cloudy brown with an approaching tan head. Nose - chocolate, biscuit and hazelnut. Taste - more hazelnut and chocolate with a bready/biscuity base. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy texture. A little roastiness on the finish. Overall - enjoyed this. Where does Mild end and Brown Ale begin?

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - hazy pinky-red. Thin head, slightly off-white. Nose - blackberry and blackcurrant for sure. Possibly some strawberry too. Not getting the sour base style here. Taste - again not sour at all. Big generous blackberry and again strawberry notes. Palate - light to medium bodied, sweet middle, dry finish but falling short of sour. Overall - a bit sweet for the style.

Taste - light citrus tang again, balanced with gentle biscuit. Palate - light bodied, with balanced bitterness. Overall - a style I'm enjoying more an more. And this one has been nailed.

440ml can. Murky, orangey, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Tropical fruity and grassy, slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, pineapple, papaya, some leafy aspects, a touch of peach. Taste is piney and juicy, tropical fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, oaty malty, slightly dry leafy-grassy-papery, notes of mango, peach, papaya, some pineapple, a touch of mandarine; lingering, minimally pungent, bitter hoppy finish on a slowly, out-fading, sweet-ish, fruity basis. Creamy to mushy texture, smooth and soft, minimally pungent palate, fine and soft carbonation. Compact and intensely fruity, almost syrupy - very nice.

Bottle from British Local Craft. Dark fruits to the fore in the nose here, with some roasted malts in the background. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a minimal beige head. Fruits again in the mouth, together with milky chocolate and coffee. Pretty sweet to start off with but then the fruit asserts itself. It has a creamy texture, but is also a bit watery. Alcoholic strength can be detected as well. A nice complex beer, but a bit too sweet for me.
