Cask-conditioned at the Market Porter, Southwark 14/10/10. Deep, ruddy brown with a slight tan head. Sweetish aroma with some caramel, fruit and roasted malts. Flavours of berry fruit and chocolate with a touch of roasted malts before a decent bitter finish. Tried immediately after the Kings old ale and lacked its depth and character.

Amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, peach and marmalade. Sweet, but balanced flavour with caramel and marmalade.

Cask (handpump) @ JDW, Edinburgh airport airside, Edinburgh, Scotland.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, light caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate roasted malt bitter with a average to long duration, light chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100208]

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 3 Aug 2010) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with toasty malt, apricots and dusty hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange, apricots, slightly toasty malt and dusty hops. Light body, balanced sweetness. Hardly exciting, but decent bitter.

Cask@one of the spoons between Victoria and Pimlico. Golden colour with small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some sweet malts as well as grassy and floral hops with some mild honeyish notes. Flavour is sweet bready malts along with nectar and some mild floral and grassy notes.

Bottle 500ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TTODRBSG10 - Ulfborg.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, nutty notes, light to moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, UK hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel - toffee, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

Cask@GBBF2010. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, caramel, some bready malts, crystal malts as well as fruity and floral hops. Flavour is very much the same with a rather fruity and grassy finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, fudge, some mild fruits, wood and sweet malts. Flavour is very similar with some rather strong syrupy notes as well.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours clear amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is citrus hops and rubber. Dry and bitter flavor. Medium bodied. Short end.
